So many men in art history have painted women looking in the mirror. More often than not, those women are depicted in sad manner. Looking sad, discontented, critical of their own appearance. What do men know about how women perceive themselves?
This 5 minute performance video is me getting ready in the mirror, accepting, and caring. I wanted to make a narrative where a femme is confident, more sure of themself upon seeing their reflection.

Block print underneath is a self portrait. I am depicted with two middle fingers pulling at my lower eyelids, and tongue out. This expression is reserved for a very sincere "fuck you"
